Welcome to my 'Colours of Cornwall Collection.'
My love of ancient history, archaeological sites and maps has informed the patterns and textures in this collection. The field blocks, tracks, causeways and contours of the land create a beautiful patchwork when viewed from an aerial perspective, but always full of colour no matter the season. Cornwall has such a wide variety of flora that decorates hedgerows, stone circles and cobbled paths; their patterns add an interesting element when stylised and overlayed on textured colour blocks. I love to use them as repeat designs in almost all of my work.
